Description KDE Brainstorm Submissions 2009-10-15 23:42:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from: I Don't Know

OS X offers the ability to mount disk images (ISO, DMG, etc.) by double clicking the file. Mounting the same files in KDE (or any other DE) isn't as easy. One has to create a mount point manually and mount the disc via the command line. Just double clicking the file is a lot more user friendly.

This feature request was originally submitted through KDE Brainstorm, and has been submitted to Bugzilla due to popular demand. Original idea: http://forum.kde.org/brainstorm.php?mode=idea&i=39162
