Except for "but, especially when launched from a link or the tray, from the current Activity / Desktop" I greatly support this. But I think a more broad approach would be better: First, Kmail should offer an option that'd say "consider current activity" and then, depending on the current activity, kmail would use a different default email address (or other kmail settings). Second, I think activities shouldn't affect the desktop only (or additionally kmail only) but just any other application. So, say, if I'm in the activity of "leisure" and using a movie player, the screen saver should go off implicitly, and power devil should keep from shutting etc. So, I think this feature request shouldn't go to kmail but to plasma. Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. |
