When I use the "Detach Tab" function, the Konqueror in the resulting new window does not have a View Profile set.  As a result, my settings for which toolbars to display, the toolbar orientation, and the icon size are not applied.

This was fixed together with the related bug 203069 in the following commit which will be in KDE 4.3.3:
