Description Stefan Parviainen 2009-10-14 21:36:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: MS Windows
Installed from: MS Windows

The Windows installer does not alert the user when the user does not have permission to create the target directory. Instead the default directory is used, which fails if the user does not have permission to install files there either. This is not a problem if the user tries to install to the default directory, but if a non-default directory is requested, the resulting error-message still mentions the default directory which is confusing to the user.
