Version:           1.12.2 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2) "release 5", KDE:43 / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-pae

when I open a mail for reading, the mail-structure panel takes the half of the screen. This is ok the first time, but it should remember when I set its size to 1/10 of the screens height.

Confirmed on KDE 4.3.3 with KMail v. 1.12.3. Kubuntu 9.10.
The splitter placement is forgotten when you go to another folder.

This works for me in KDE 4.4.0. The splitter position is remembered even after restarting kmail
