Description sheeettin 2009-10-14 05:06:27 UTC
Version: 0.1 (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

For an interface as small as the run command interface, one would expect that it closes when it loses focus (like Katapult used to, or like Yakuake does).

As it is, if the run command interface is opened, and it loses focus (i.e. the user clicks on a window behind it), it gets sent behind that application and will stay there, lurking, until it gets revealed and explicitly closed. (This is especially annoying for me, as I have it to open on Alt+Space, which is accidentally hit more frequently than Alt+F2, especially by any cats that happen to be passing by.)

This should be at least configurable.
Comment 2 David A Thompson 2009-12-07 15:54:46 UTC
Agreed - should be configurable.

KRunner now closes when it loses focus. Further discussion can be found in: Bug 353026
