Sentry Crash Report:

Description Kerstin Weinreben 2009-10-13 22:25:51 UTC
Version: 1.5 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

The system on dual core 64 bit PC, Suse linux is new installed and all patches updated. In this moment was a sound but also a command to start new, because the update.
Then the system is up again and the sound is not function any more with an error prompt that the driver is changed because there is an error. I can not find the name of the old or new sound driver again, but also the system does not find the CD or start the CD, may be there a spy has found an entrance with such old programs that changes sound into commands... Thats what I specially had in a Knoppix version: someone moved that way my PC down and because it was a selfstarting Knoppix-CD it moves up again, at first when I gripped the self opend Mixer and screwed down the input(not the output), the chase was stoped!
May be this story helped to manage open source more against attacks from regulation-wilderness!

My kubuntu is not able to produce any sound at all. It seems doesn't recognize the audio hardware.
Comment 3 Ricardo Guevara 2017-10-28 17:19:14 UTC
