Sir,
While I was trying a distribution upgrade of kubuntu 4 to 9.04 and when it comes to the next heading of upgrading process 'Setting new software channels'
after almost completing the task an Error message came out saying
'Can't install 'kubuntu-kde4-desktop' It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as a bug'.
Please suggest what can i do in such a situation
With regards

Hi,

this seems to be a Kubuntu problem - please report it at Kubuntu's bug tracker

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu

or, possibly more appropriate,

https://bugs.launchpad.net/update-manager

(and try to provide all details that might be relevant) or ask in some Kubuntu IRC channel or mailing list.

Thanks.
