I'm running Kubuntu Jaunty kde 4.3.2 from PPA! Sometimes window decoration desappear without knowing reason. It happens most of the times I change workspace and click to gain focus at a new window.

Notebook LG S1 - C2D 7200; 2,5Gb RAM; Ati Mobility x1600 256MB - ati opensource drivers.

I usually use compiz for composite but I'm liking new kwin composite.

does that happen when using Compiz or when using kwin?

When using kwin!

I can't show a screenshot because press print screen makes window decoration appear again!

a) do you use the desktop effects (composite)
b) does this happen with every deco or just oxygen/ozone/nitrogen?

a) I'm using kwin composite

b) It happens with ozone, oxygen, nitrogen, quartzo! So I think this happen with every deco.

Looks like I found the guilty for the bug! It only happens if I activate the transparency kwin plugin, and setup window decoration transparency!

Now I'm using Kubuntu Karmic kde 4.3.2

Is it related to a special pattern? For example only Konsole windows or you had used desktop grid before?

It happens with almost every app... It happens more when I use desktop grid before, but not only...

Is this still an issue? Some flickering bugs in the decoration have been fixed some time ago, therefore I assume it to be fixed. Please reopen if it is still an issue (I just tried and could not reproduce).
