Description Maurice Batey 2009-10-08 19:18:17 UTC
Version: 4.1 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Wishing to copy various addresses in the addressbook into a file, I found that left-clicking an an entry to make it 'current', then selecting 'Copy' did *not* put the selected address onto the clipboard.

(Nor did Ctl-C.)

The only way I could do this was to click on the address on the right-hand pane, and start to compose a message, then copy/paste from the 'To:' window!

(Outside kaddressbook, no problem anywhere with copy/paste.)

Wish, but still valid for current KAddressBook. Changing category.
Comment 4 Jonathan Marten 2015-11-24 11:46:09 UTC
This is now implemented in current KAddressBook. Context menu over an email address displayed in the contact pane now has a "Copy Email Address" action (and similar for all other items).

Many thanks, Jonathan - much appreciated!
