I agree. "Authorize" and "Add" are not mutually exclusive actions, though Kopete treats them as such. It is possible to add someone without authorizing them, and it is possible to authorize someone without adding them. However, there is no obvious way to both add and authorize someone. Confirming problem still exists in Kopete 1.0.0 (KDE 4.4.0). Also, this false dichotomy is a fairly serious problem which I think is more a bug than a feature request. Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained. Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat. |
