this is also the behaviour with kwin. I'm not sure this is really a bug, the button does not yet exist, depending on how the system is coded, there is perhaps no way to know where the button is going to be. yes, this is a "predicting the future" issue: the taskbar isn't showing the window, and show doesn't know that it should be the target location. what it probably should do when "only show minimized" is on is set the end of the last button in the task widget to be the minimize target for all non-minimized windows.
