Description Philipp Kern 2009-10-04 16:54:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

kdmrc declares a configuration setting called StdFont to set a font for all labels that are not overridden by GreetFont and FailFont. However KDE4's kdm ignores this setting and does not set the font of the other labels present to the one specified. It may be possible to work around this by setting another font in qtrc, but so far I haven't been successful. The default font is plain ugly, although it looks fine in the kdm configuration applet in system settings. This configuration applet also sets this configuration setting if I choose another font, but as it is not read by the source it does not take effect.

Oh and FWIW, that's with the unthemed greeter.
