Description m.wege 2009-10-03 10:34:55 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It would be cool if Dr. Konqui would know if a bug with the same backtrace had been reported before by this user and have a separate handling for it:
Like:
- Ask only for adding additional information to the bug report
- Marking the bug locally as fixed, so that if the bug reoccurs the app is restarted instantly, giving the user then only a notification about event.
May be Dr. Konqui could check for updated packages and could advise to update or try to retrieve information for a workarround. This kind of problem solving and also less bothering with already reported bugs could encourrage users to report bugs. They would have a better feedback how what they do really helps to solve their problems.

Mh, this is a "kind-of-extension" of bug 208243.
