Description Sabine Faure 2009-10-02 01:13:09 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
Compiler: gcc 4.3.2
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

- Launch Kontact and go to Kaddressbook
- Go to Settings menu/Configure Toolbars...
- Select 'Main Toolbar <kontact>'
- Select 'About KDE' from the 'Available actions' list
- Click on the right arrow button and then on 'Apply'
- The 'About KDE' button appears in the main toolbar on the right hand side of the search field in Kaddressbook main view.
- Now, click on the 'Defaults' button from the 'Configure Toolbars' dialogue and then on 'Reset'
- The 'About KDE' button disappears from the Kaddressbook main view.

However, in the 'Configure Toolbars' dialogue the 'About KDE' entry is still in the 'Current actions' list.

The only way to tell if the defaults have been reset is to click on 'Ok', quit Kontact and to relaunch it.

If you do so and go back to the 'Configure Toolbars' dialogue you can see that the 'About KDE' entry is no longer in the 'current actions' list.
It only seems to be an update problem.

Ah, same bug as 234571 (but reported for a different application).
Fixed for kdelibs-4.6.
