What I was doing when the application crashed:
I added the audio CD contents to the playlist, stopped it. Did something else for 10 minutes and then start the playlist with the CD tracks in it. The crash was immediate.

This is a crash in Phonon, not Amarok.

But your backtrace is not very useful, as you don't have the debugging packages installed. If you can reproduce this bug, please see here on ow to reproduce a valid backtrace:

Make sure to install the debugging packages for both Amarok and Phonon and report that crash against phonon.
