When "Show offline users" is checked, all identities' contacts are listed. However, i believe that only connected identities' contacts should appear. For example, i have two identities: me and my brother. I would like to view only my account's contacts.

This is not a good idea. It may happen an user is offline from Internet and wants to see a chat history of one contact. That would not be possible if we show only contacts of online identities only since there will be none.
