What I was doing when the application crashed:
This bug appears related to bug 208245.

I was asked to add kdepim debug to attempt to resolve a bug in kmail, so after adding kdepim debug RPMs I seem to have a slightly less stable kcrash debugger when attempting to provide info regarding kmail crashes.

When I get a kmail crash, I cannot save the crash information, so I attempted to copy the crash report into kwrite, and then got kwrite to save the crash details to a file. This worked okay for the initial bug reports for bug 208245 but after adding kdepim with debug, now kwrite crashed.

Maybe the bug is related?
