Version:            (using 4.3.68 (KDE 4.3.68 (KDE 4.4 >= 20090907)), Gentoo)
Compiler:          x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.30-rc6-git3

hi,

as i forgot a few times about a running task, it would help it a systrayicon would be present either just with the time or some kind of smooth blinking every X minutes to remember about the tracking goiing on.

Thanks for your report, and good to get such reports. It means the rest of the functionality is ok (at least to the degree that you do not report bugs about it). You are right and this feature should be added - have a look at http://reviewboard.kde.org/r/1653/diff/ and tell us if it fits your needs.
