i'd like to use koffice only and not openoffice, but i have a very important feature missing. I dont have spell check. I have KDE with greek enviroment koffice-2.0.82-1mdv2010.0
when i write a word with wrong spell it is nt underlined and even if i do a right click on the word , i dont have the list with proposing corrections. In the other KDE applications the spellcheck works perfectly.

The spelling plugin needs a lot of work.

ok , thanks for the answere, i hope that it will be in the plans and see the spelling finaly functional in koffice as soon as possible.

SVN commit 1030665 by zander:

Fixes app-wide language changes to be honoured by the speller.

Remove the koffice-local clone of the config dialog and use the one
from kdeui instead.
Also listen to the language change and store that in our apps config
file and restore that properly on restart.

it still does nt work after update. I have SOME words underlined but i cant apply spell correction

kword-2.1.81-2mdv2010.1
it is the latest version, no ?

i dont think that is the same because the problem in my case is that i cannot do a spell check at all.
