Description Andrey 2009-09-19 20:27:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

This is similar to bug #188644.
I moved my music folder to another Win7 pc (using smb:// path). During copy Dolphin complained that it wasn't able to move some files, probably because of some illegal characters in the name (illegal for windows system). It had 2 options: something like skip, and auto skip. I pressed auto skip to avoid move operation stop on each error, and at the end of the operation I have half of my folder on Windows machine and another half...disappeared. I hoped that it is reasonable, if you can't process the file, don't touch it, ffs!
I will stay out from using Dolphin until stuff like this gets fixed.

Probably this bug is a dup of bug #203883 (file with illegal chars are lost on copy)
