As far as I remember I've been undoing cutting the image. Not reproducible here. Your HDD is full ? (typically /var is used to store undo data) Gilles Caulier I don't know; depends on how much space digikam uses when editing RAW images. $ df -h Dateisystem Größe Benut Verf Ben% Eingehängt auf /dev/sda6 49G 31G 16G 67% / If it can fill 16 GB after editing 40 RAW images (13 Megapixels), then yes, it's possible ;) Maybe out-of-memory? A particularly large file on a machine with modest memory? The code is essentially: QDataStream ds(&file); QByteArray ba; ds >> ba; // crash 4 GB RAM here. Perhaps when having opened multiple programs … And yes, no swap partition here. Could you reproduce this at all? Was there any output on the console? I'm at loss here what to do about this. digiKam 1.0.0 is out since few days... http://www.digikam.org/drupal/node/491 Please try with this version coming with more than 400 bug-fixes. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier digiKam 1.1. release will be done in few days. Please check if this entry still valid. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier digiKam and Kipi-plugins 1.2.0 are out. Please check if crash is still valid there. Thanks in advance Gilles Caulier No feedback from user... Gilles Caulier Didn't have a crash anymore for some time now in the image editor. I think this bug can be closed … |
