Description Marcus Better 2009-09-18 11:05:33 UTC
Version: 4.3.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-melech

My KDE desktop and the Linux system are set to use Swedish locale. However I mostly read English-language newsgroups, so I have selected English (UK) as language in Knode's editor settings (the Spelling tab).

Despite this, Knode continues to use Swedish in the automatic spell check feature, causing most English words to get the wavy red underline marks.

If I do "Check spelling" from the context menu or the Tools menu, then it uses the correct English dictionary.

SVN commit 1060763 by otrichet:

Use the spell checker configuration of KNode instead of the global one.
