Description Rich 2009-09-13 16:45:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

When the system on Kubuntu 910 Karmic alpha4 is about to go into sleep a notification sound is played. 10 seconds later a second notification is played and the system actually sleep.

The fact that a first "warning" chime is played seems to indicate that if you interact with the system (or unlock it) then the system wouldn't sleep. This isn't how is works, which is a shame.

It would be nice if the sleep chime plays, if the user interacts or unlocks the system before a user configurable period of time then the sleep process isn't completed and the system remains awake for use.

I trust this is clear?

Thanks

Richard

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
