preserves Actions Toolbar visibility
implementation along the lines of the existing configuration options
After trying the SVN version I've tried fixing it. It was surprisingly easy, patch attached. It’s a little strange here. Upon starting Krusader, the Actions Toolbar is visible, but the checkmark in Settings->Show Actions Toolbar is not set. If I click on that menu item, the toolbar is hidden, but now the checkmark is set. And again Krusader does not remember this setting for the next start, the toolbar is always there. I've tried both with and without "Save settings on exit" enabled. The only thing I could think of is to remove all buttons from it, but that keeps a small visible gap at the top because the toolbar handle is still there in form of a very small square (I usually run without any toolbars thanks to the good keyboard supprt). BTW: Pavel, my krusaderrc has no "Show action tool bar" line as suggested by your patch. Has it still not made it into the beta yet? The presence of the "Show Actions Toolbar" menu item tells otherwise, though. My Krusader Version is 2.1.0 beta 1 (from Gentoo packages), KDE 4.3.5 It seems that Krusader's developers don't read bugs.kde.org If you know, where to find them, please resubmit the patch there. Krusader's developers don't read even their official bug-tracker (on sourceforge.net). :( It looks like patch is applied (verified in current git). |
