Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

Devs,

One significant frustration with all kde file open/file save dialogs is the inability to reorder or sort the places entries in all file-open and file-save dialogs. Currently when you create an entry you are stuck with its location in the places pane. The only work-around is to close kde and edit the old ~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals.

We have left the "dark ages." The places list should be able to be ordered or sorted by the user so its not simply some random smattering of directory URLs. Thanks.

Here using trunk, I can reorder places entries by using drag & drop. I have to be careful to drop between items, not onto items.

I doubt that 4.3.1 is any different. Could you check this, David?
