Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

The "Split View Left/Right" and "Split View Top/Bottom" menu entries was mixed up in 4.3.1 release so that L/R has T/B icon and does T/B function and accelerator also does T/B function and vice versa for T/B text label.

Same in Gentoo with kde-4.3.2

It looks correct to me in KDE 4.3.2 and trunk.

Can you attach a screenshot?

You are correct, it looks as it should in 4.3.2. I must have been drunk when posting the follow-up.
