Currently, the contactlist becomes rather messy when having more than 1 identity + a lot of contacts.

I'd like to see one of these options in Kopete:
- Make the "Show all" toolbar button a "dropdown" button like the "Add" button and show the existing identities there. This way one could select to show just contacts belonging to a specific identity.
- Make it possible displaying a tabbed contactlist: one tab per identity. It should be possible to disable this option in the settings.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
