Would be nice if I could either save to an image or pdf file, or print, all the images that are currently in my light table. The point of this would be to quickly be able to send an image of these images to someone over IRC or any other instant messenger, whether they are my client or just a friend, and get their opinion on which ones they like best. It could work the same way the print assistant does, only add the option to save the image instead of printing.

Printing a mosaic using the Print Assistant in 4.2.0 satisfies this request. One can print to PDF, JPG or GIMP, and the images are automatically scaled, aligned, etc. Good.
