Description Christian Trippe 2009-09-06 21:05:44 UTC
Version: 1.12.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 163", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.29-0.1-default

I have my KDE installation in German, however the dictionary I set to English.

In kmail I have one account which I configured to use the German dictionary. This works when I create a new e-mail or forward one, however if I reply to an e-mail of this account the dictionary is still displayed as German but it uses the English one.

Changing the selected language of the dictionary and selecting again German works, this means is a workaround.

Similar behavior happens here:

1. KDE language is Polish
2. English and Polish dictionaries are installed.
3. One identity, let's say "KDE" is set to use English dictionary
4. When replying, using "KDE" identify:
- spellchecking in Polish is enabled
- but, checking for current spellchecker language shows English.

Just changing to any other language and back to English fixes the problem.

Seems to be fixed in KDE 4.3.3.

No, it is still present for me with 4.3.4

I cannot reproduce this any longer with kmail2.
