Version: 0.70.90 (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0) "release 152", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-pae

I liked and often used the possibility in kopete/kde3 to rename contacts per shortkey F2 on the fly. this is a standard-renaming-method in many application, and I don't understand, why this feature was removed in kopete.

now I have to choose the properties-dialog from the right-click-popup-menu and have to rename the contact there, not as user-friendly.

I really miss this feature too! :(
It is a big step back in usability for Kopete.

I added this feature to kde-4.9 so this is fixed :-)
