i reopen my bug report because i am not sure this the same pb

by default when installing Mandriva 2010.0b1 i had kde 4.3.0
then
there was an update to kde 4.3.1
then
i tried for the first time to add superkaramba theme from a local *.skz file with plasma tool
then
i failed

i tried with success
plasmapkg --type=superkaramba --install nvidia-sensors-lite.skz

If it is the same pb the pb is solved see bug # 190981 comment #16 of Aaron J. Seigo

why i failed using the plasma tool gui ?
Comment 4 Philippe ROUBACH 2009-09-04 17:36:41 UTC
there is another pb

with superkaramba the nvidia theme is transparent
with plamsa the nvidia theme is not transparent

Comment 8 Nicolas L. 2010-06-07 11:01:08 UTC
Do you reproduce with kde 4.4.3 or 4.5 beta ?
Comment 9 Philippe ROUBACH 2010-06-07 11:29:28 UTC
Mandriva 2010.1rc2
kde 4.4.3

i open the tool to add a plasmoid in the desktop
then
i click on "get new graphical elements"
then
i select "install a graphiacal element from a local file"
then
i select "superkaramba: theme .."
then
i select nvidia-sensors-lite.skz in my "document" directory
then
"terminate"
then
the plasmoid manager disappears
then
i open again the plasmoid manager
then
i scan all the plasmoids
no nvidia entry is added in the list of the plasmoids
Comment 10 Philippe ROUBACH 2010-06-07 11:40:14 UTC
(continued)
then
i try a command line :

plasmapkg --type=superkaramba --install nvidia-sensors-lite.skz

then
awindows opens saying :

an identitical file named /home/roubach/.kde4/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/nvidia-sensors-lite.skz
is already there
do you want to replace it ?
then
i ask yes
then
i open plasmoid manager
then
i see the nvidia sensor plasmoid
then i drag it to the desktop to add it to the desktop

[roubach@localhost Nvidia-sensors]$ plasmapkg --type=superkaramba --install nvidia-sensors-lite.skz
plasmapkg(4641) SkPackage::installPackage: archivePath= "/home/roubach/Documents/Nvidia-sensors/nvidia-sensors-lite.skz" packageRoot= "/home/roubach/.kde4/share/apps/plasma/plasmoids/"
Installation réussie de /home/roubach/Documents/Nvidia-sensors/nvidia-sensors-lite.skz
[roubach@localhost Nvidia-sensors]$

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
Comment 12 Germano Massullo 2012-06-25 17:49:47 UTC
KDE 4.8.3
I un-packed http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/Nvidia+sensors+monitor?content=87195
and it contains
- nvidia-sensors.skz
- nvidia-sensors-lite.skz
but the plasmoid installer does not find these files
