- Configure Akonadi with an IMAP and Kolab resource.
- Launch Kaddressbook.
- find or export 3 contacts (with a Birthday and Anniversary in them) in a .ldif file
- Go to File menu/Import/Import LDIF file...
- Browse to enter the .ldif file in the 'Open' dialogue
- Click on 'Open'
- Select an Address Book to import the Contacts into

The Contacts are imported in the specified address book but the 'Birthday' and 'Anniversary' fields are not imported at all.

Hej Sabine,

the LDIF format doesn't support to store birthday or anniversary information,
so we can neither export nor import them.
