Sentry Crash Report:

Description Michael Homer 2009-09-02 12:12:32 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Compiler: GCC 4.3.3
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

The microblogging plasmoid treats all UTC times it receives as if they were local, making the reported timestamps inaccurate.

I am in UTC+12, so a brand-new message shows up as "12 hours ago", rather than having a resolution of minutes. If I change my time zone to something behind UTC, every message shows up as just posted.

This still occurs in 4.3.1 as well, which wasn't an option for the KDE version at time of filing, but did not happen in the corresponding widget in 4.2.x.

Dup of bug 203949?
