Description Alin M Elena 2009-09-01 14:39:52 UTC
Version: 4.3.0 (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0) "release 158", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.29-0.1-default

I use korganizer with resources of type Calendar in Remote File.
The web resource that I use requires a password. From time to time I am asked for the password even if I have ticked remember password. Even more the dialog comes with all the data (username, password filled correctly)

I would expect that it should connect automatically without needing me to click ok.

Seems to be a similar problem with the freebusy publishing. I publish my freebusy information to a fish:// resource, username and password are entered in the server-information part of configuration. The password contains a slash (like "pass/word"). Every time I start Kontact, Korganizer asks for the password.
The text in the dialog is in the form "user@server.com" - but it contains the part of the password before the slash: "user:pass@server.com".
When I press OK, everything works fine.

This seems to be a global problem, perhaps with kwallet. This just started happening to me with sftp sessions in KDE 4.4.x. Same symptoms but when opening links in Dolphin.

The username and password are already filled in, but the "Remember password" box is unchecked, even though I check it every time the prompt shows up.

This is HIGHLY annoying.
