I selected a message in my inbox and typed then
immediately on the delete key on the keyboard. At this
time the selected message was not loaded completely
because my system was swapping a little bit.

kmail then started to delete all the messages in the
inbox until the bar for yesterday. I than switched
to a konsole to verify that my keyboard is working
properly.

Than I switched back to kmail and selected the
sent-mail folder.
kmail started to delete the messages of the outbox
until the already mentioned yesterday bar.

Finaly I restarted kmail and the problem disappeared.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
