I don't see anything unusual in the settings window. Can you provide a screenshot please ?

Using Kubuntu 10.10 (kde 4.6.2) and master/branch 4.6 compiled from sources and using locales de/x-test/en_US I don't see the bug you reported.

What is the locale you are using?

I am using the Romanian locale.
However, this has not occurred anymore since at least KDE 4.4.
I was using a beta version of KDE at the time of reporting this bug, so it was probably a temporary issue.

This bug is no longer reproducible in the current version of KDE.
