I dont know if is a wish or a bug because until KDE 4.2 this featuer was present.
When i browse a local folder in konqueror i want to open konsole in this folder. For that i press F4, until kde 4.2 the konsole window opens in front of the other open windows. No the new window is behind the other windows

Thanks for the bug report! It seems to depend on whether there are open Konsole windows already:

If no Konsole windows are open and I press F4, the new window is in front.

If there is a Konsole open already, the new window is behind the Konqueror window.

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I agree that it would be desirable to always have the window in front when pressing F4.

I had similar issue with opening Konsole. However after upgrade to 4.6.2 I am unable to reproduce it.
