This bug is not valid anymore. So I am closing it. It is now possible to enter the second email address of a contact manually. There is still a bug with the pop up dialogue that asks the user to choose between the contact's two emails but I reported a different bug about it (see bug #209981) But the point is that both of the emails can be added to the group and displayed on the right hand side of the main view.
