Description Alan Jenkins 2009-08-30 12:44:40 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Once a widget is added to the desktop, the Add Widget dialogue shows a red bar which can be used to remove that widget.

The red bar does not appear immediately however. You have to provoke a repaint e.g. by moving the mouse over the entry, before it will appear.

In this screenshot, I've just added the analogue clock widget to the desktop. However its entry in the list of widgets does not have a red bar.
