Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-08-28 17:43:47 UTC
Version: 2.0 (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-rc7allah

The player can't seek an http stream.

I don't know if the kioslave for http protocol implements the seek, but it can be done easily.

The http protocol has an header called "Content-Range". So a new get with the new position can be sent to the server.
http protocol also says that it is not mandatory to implement this feature in the webserver, but most servers do implement it.

Still a problem? If so, which backend are you using?

No, it can seek. But kaffeine can't. Can you reassign the bug?
