The "From" and "To" date range fields in the Find Events dialog don't allow direct text input. I believe this is a bug rather than a missing feature since one CAN edit date fields in other dialogs (for example the "new event" dialogs).

Also, and perhaps related:
(1) Although a blinking cursor is shown inside the date boxes, it is impossible to move.
(2) The widths of the text boxes vary (if one clicks inside, the get smaller, but if one switches to another field, they become larger).

I've updated to KDE 4.3, and it looks like the Search box date fields work fine now. I'll recategorize this thread as 'RESOLVED'.
