Version:            (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

Eventhough I have mplayerthumbs installed and thumbnails enabled dolphin is unable to show video thumbnails

In the konsole I see errors similar to this one:

dolphin(15488)/kio (KIOJob) KIO::SlaveInterface::dispatch: error  104   "Cannot create thumbnail for /home/aap/Videos/XXX/XXX.avi"

btw these video's play fine in smplayer

Check bug 197393 comment 15 to try to "fix" this issue.
