Version:           2.0.0 "Mars Pathfinder" (using 4.3.00 (KDE 4.3.0) "release 2", openSUSE Factory)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-rc6-3-desktop

When I press the button "F3" (for Preview) It don't refreshes the image after after modification in The GIMP.

Confirmed. It is a general problem that doesn't only affect image files.

Switching viewer mode refreshes content.
Probably ctrl-r as refresh would be useful.
Not sure about auto-refresh...
