In kde 4.3.0, kate/kwrite, the Configure Editor -> Open/Save -> Modes & Filetypes -> Download Highlighting Files... is broken and no syntax files are retrieved or shown in the selection window.

Normally, I expect to see the normal list of syntax highlighting file shown in the "Highlight Download" dialog that appears with "New versions are selected automatically" at the bottom.

Now however, that dialog appears and it is completely empty, like it either can't download the files (must rely on the fish kio ;-) or it gets the update list and now can't display what it got. Either way, the user get nothing in the window.

Bug confirmed in current trunk.

Confirmed in KDE 4.3.1. Instead of an empty box, I would expect the following:
1) Files!
2) A message "could not connect to server"
3) A message "no files on server"
4) A message "no server configured"

The list of higlighting files for the KDE 4.3 kate part is missing on the server.
Kate in trunk now displays an error message if there is a problem with the server, instead of just showing a blank list

The missing update file has been added to the server by one of the other kate devs
