Description Madhu 2009-08-27 07:29:52 UTC
Version: digikam 0.9.4 (using KDE 4.3.0)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

I was working with digikam. After wards, I deleted some images from the working folder. Later when I tried to start the digikam, it showed one message telling that such an image file is missing, do you want to delete it permanently or not. When I gave 'NO', it was not possible to proceed with digikam, it just got closed. If I give 'YES' it proceeds.

This is not a bug, it is a feature in the older digiKam versions. You deleted an image outside of digiKam (it was not running) and it detected these changes on the ext startup. To avoid corrupting the database, you need to accept the dialog box in order to continue working with digiKam.
