Description michael papet 2009-08-27 06:02:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Drawing the desktop, widgets, pretty much everything is very unpredictable. See screenshot. It will then clean itself up at rest.

Disabling transparency doesn't seem to help. GTK apps like Transmission, GIMP actually make matters worse.

does not look like a plasma bug to me, but more like a QT/driver bug.
anyone?
Comment 3 Aaron J. Seigo 2009-08-27 13:58:09 UTC
yes, this is an x.org problem.
Comment 4 michael papet 2009-08-27 18:16:36 UTC
What's the problem exactly? Has a bug been opened/fixed at xorg?

I appreciate the quick feedback, but a little more information would be more helpful.

You will have to fill a bug yourself a bug (or search for an existing bugreport) on xorg. Do to the limited time we have, and of course because we don't know the exact hardware/software configuration you have we can't do it ourself.
If you do make a bugreport or find one that corresponds to your bug, it would be nice if you would post a comment here with the link to that bugreport

thank you for your time
