When a user is in Dolphin, Konqueror, or really any app's file picker, I'd like Kdesu (or kdesudo, which is whay my Debian Sid has) to have a right-click context menu which enables root actions.

For example, if I want to edit /etc/motion/motion.conf and I open Dolphin and navigate there, I cannot do anything.  I cannot create files, cannot edit files, etc.

If I am trying to access a file or create a file or directory where I don't have permission, I would like those entries to still exist in my right-click menu and have them prompt for my password.  If I am not in the /etc/sudoers file, so be it, but then respond that I am "not in /etc/sudoers and this action will be reported" or whatever the normal sudo response is when it fails.  Currently, the menu entries are there but greyed out.

Likely yes, this can be set up with some menu entry to always have "Open as root..." as an option, but it should only be there when needed, and only when kdesu / kdesudo is installed.
