Additional thing noticed: If layout switching is set to Alt+Shift then short-cut Alt+Shift+? doesn't work in mc as "find". Apparently a problem is that whatever this layout switch is, it should work on "depressing" of keys rather than pressing. And if I "press" a switch combination with other key (say arrows for selecting or ? for find in mc) depressing should not switch keyboard layout. This is the problem with xorg: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=865 Not much kxkb can do here. |
