Description Andreas Gölzer 2009-08-22 19:47:41 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In Marble 0.8/kde 4.3 the earth's cloud cover in satellite view is visible if the viewing altitude is above ~2500 km, and not if the earth is viewn from less than 2500 km above ground.

It would be nice if one could set up marble such that clouds could be viewn from lower altitudes, a possible application could be to look for an unclouded area to visit at a weekend trip.

I'm on this (In fact I've got the feature almost ready for trunk).
